Trans Ultimate assists with –
- Conducting driver safety checks
- Drivers declaring conformance with policies
- Carrying out vehicle safety inspections

Drivers
The Driver Safety Check provides drivers a means to declare that they are fit for duty and that they will conform with company policies. If a driver disagrees with any statement, they are alerted that they have not met requirements to commence their shift and to report immediately to their supervisor. The result of the check, highlighted in yellow is displayed onscreen, live in the office. Staff can view which statement the driver did not conform so appropriate follow up action can take place.

Vehicles
The Vehicle Safety Check allows drivers to carry out pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe for use. If a fault has been detected during the inspection, the driver is alerted of the fault and is taken directly to the Fault Repair Report form.

For any failed check, the result, highlighted in yellow is displayed onscreen, live in the office. Office staff can review the fault and the Fault Repair Report generated by the driver so they can action the repair.

Check Faults
Before conducting a Vehicle Safety Check, the driver can check for any previously recorded faults simply by entering the vehicle’s registration number. This will provide a list of any faults that have not yet been repaired for that vehicle, negating the need to duplicate a Fault Repair Report.

Fault Repair Report
Should a fault be detected at any time, the driver can fill in a report and submit it for repair. The report, once submitted, is shown live in the office where repair can be organised. A Repair Request Report can be emailed directly to the workshop or mechanic showing a picture of the fault. If mechanics have user access to Trans Ultimate, they can update the report with the progress of the repair.

Trips
Drivers can record all trips carried out throughout the day. Generally, this is where most paperwork is generated and where Trans Ultimate excels best.

Record a Trip allows the driver to record
- Truck and trailer registration numbers
- Odometer reading
- Pick and destination
- Axle group weights for up to 4 axle groups (e.g Truck & dog or B-Double etc)
- Gross vehicle weight (auto calculated)
- Method/s used to determine and verify weights.
